The Professional Development Committee oversees the educational opportunities provided by the Chapter and NAWIC national. This group is responsible for working with the Board and other applicable committees in planning events both in person and online. The mission on this committee is to continue to help our members grow and learn.
The Membership Committee oversees the recruiting and retaining of members for the Chapter. This group works with the Board and other applicable committees in planning events both in person and online. The mission of this committee is to grow our membership while maintaining current members. This group meets monthly.
PR & Marketing
The PR & Marketing committee oversees all communication from and marketing of the Chapter. This group works with all committees and the Board to effectively reach out to members and potential members on the Chapter’s events, information, and members. The mission of this committee is to effectively communicate to members and potential members of the Chapter.
The community outreach committee oversees the development of partnerships with community organizations throughout the region. This group specializes in creating volunteer opportunities, fundraising and donation efforts, and collaboration between those invested in seeing women in construction grow.
The WIC week committee oversees the planning and execution of WIC week held annually in March and work with community organizations to aid in their mission. The Board of Directors work with this group to ensure that WIC Week effectively highlights the Chapter and to ensure that the community groups align with the core values of the organization. The mission of this committee is to plan and execute WIC Week annually and to facilitate relationships with community organizations throughout the region. This group meets monthly but meets more frequently in December-February ahead of WIC week.
